Fitness tips of sporting legends
Rafael Nadal
The 2008 Wimbledon champ, who stripped Roger Federer of his five year reign, battled hard in the epic five hour final. But what is his secret of his success?
" Nothing. I practice normal, like every day: one hour, and then a little bit more. Nothing special. The day before is same, like every day off."
Nadal has chronic foot problems and tendonitis in both knees but his arms have never been in question. His fitness came from the court not the gym – which accounts for his left arm being significantly bigger than his right!
