Arsenal and Croatian striker Eduardo da Silvia faced a career ending injury when his leg was shattered by Birmingham City's Martin Taylor.

The injury – which came in the opening minutes of the Premier League clash - is the worst seen in English football for over a decade and may well mean the end of young Eduardo's career.
