Ice hockey goalie dices with death
In a freak accident when rushing out to block an attack, Buffalo Sabers goal tender Clint Malarchuk's throat was sliced open by his opponent's ice skate blade. If it had struck an eighth of an inch higher he would've been dead within two minutes. As it was he was able to walk off the ice and go to hospital and was back in action a few weeks later.
