When sports stars lose their cool!
Eric Cantona
Footballers are known for their great footwork, but eleven years prior to Zidane's insanity, Manchester striker Eric Cantona's kicking skills were in the news for all the wrong different reasons.
Well known for his fiery temper, Cantona became cemented in football history in 1995's World Cup final. After receiving a red card he suddenly launched a flying kung-fu kick at Crystal Palace fan Mathew Simmons.
Simmons had apparently been making racist remarks. Cantona well and truly flipped, and had to be held back by stewards as he went for a further attack at the supporter. He was fined £20,000 and dealt a nine-month ban.
