TV presenter TamzinOuthwaite has given birth to a ‘beautiful baby girl’ named Marnie Mae Ellis. Baby Marnie is Tamzin’s second child with her husband Tom Ellis.
Tom Ellis, who used to be part of the show EastEnders, gushed about the newest member of their family: “We had a beautiful baby girl called Marnie Mae Ellis 6 lbs. 5 oz. of gorgeousness!”
His comment was accompanied by a snap of a small Olympic romper suit with a gold medal printed on it. The suit was a present the couple received for their ‘golden girl’. Tom ended the post with the hashtag #olympicbaby.
Marnie will be baby sister to three-year-old Florence, who was born in 2008. After that, Tamzin said she could see herself having a bigger family. She had said: “We would like to have more than one child.”
“I am not worried in the least about my career taking a back seat. My career and ambitions have been fulfilled, and I would be quite happy not to work again and look after the children.”
Tamzin announced her second pregnancy in March, tweeting: “Yes, we are very happy to say that we are expecting baby no. 2 later this year.”
Tamzin and Tom met in 2005 when they are introduced by mutual friend actor James McAvoy.
