Males from Canada (No 10), Denmark (No 9), New Zealand (No 8), Australia (No 7) and South Africa (No 6) were also some of the best lovers in the world according to the survey.

A spokesperson for www.OnePoll.com, who conducted the study, said the findings could be "an eye-opener for thousands of men around the world and female travellers who might judge potential new lovers by looking at these results".
