Kate Winslet will be taking her "lucky charms" to this weekend's Oscars.
The beautiful actress will walk the red carpet with her parents, Roger and Sally - who she believes always brings her good fortune.
The mum-of-two, who has been nominated for the accolade four times, said: "My parents have been with me to all the Oscar ceremonies and the first thing I did after hearing of my nomination was to call them and say, 'Get your glad rags ready, you're coming with me.'"
Added a source: "Kate is devoted to her parents and often calls them her lucky charms."
Kate, who will be accompanied to the glittering ceremony by her husband Sam Mendes, has also revealed how surprised she is to be in the running for her role in 'Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind'.
The sexy star said although her character of Clementine was memorable, the movie came out a year ago and she was shocked that fans still remembered it.
She added in an interview with Britain's Daily Mail: "I'm surprised people have remembered it, but there's something about the character, Clementine, that sticks with you. She's amazing spirit and I think people appreciate love stories."
