Ailsa Hospital Stabbing On CCTV
Stabbing incident outside Ailsa Hospital in Ayr was not captured by CCTV.

On Thursday, a 42-year-old woman was stabbed in a car park outside Alisa Hospital in Ayr. The health worker is now in stable condition.
Police have been appealing for witnesses after it has emerged that the CCTV at the hospital was not working, despite signs within the grounds saying there is a 24-hour surveillance.”
Health board chief executive John Burns said: “The analogue CCTV system at Ailsa Hospital has not been operational for a number of years.
“We have an ongoing review of how to make best use of CCTV across all our sites.”
According to witnesses, the suspect is a female, aged between 30 and 50, around 5ft 2in and of slight build. She was also described wearing a dark woolly hat and a dark jacket.
