Lowe’s launches Smart Home powered by b8ta
Home improvement chain Lowe’s have recently partnered with b8ta, a software-focused retailer.

They launching a curated section of IoT devices called ‘Smart Home powered by b8ta’. The firm offers store-within-a-store experience to give customers the opportunity to easily discover, learn and try the latest technologies for the home.
Each of 70 Lowe’s stores offers customers the opportunity to experience a fully immersive format with an array of items, ranging from thermostats to security systems and speakers to lighting. Specially trained ‘b8ta testers’ will be on standby to provide customers the support they need and answers to their questions.
The brands displayed at each ‘Smart Home powered by b8ta’ include Sonos, GE, Google, Nest, Samsung, and Ring. All of which are available for hands-on interactions. Lowe’s customers are given smartphones to interact with each of these devices to better simulate the way they’d use them at home.

Nationwide, consumers will have the opportunity to engage and demo a curated selection of connected products, with knowledgeable product experts on-hand to navigate consumers through their journey,"
