Patrick Kietly has reportedly dropped the big question to girlfriend Cat Deeley.
TV presenter Cat was apparently spotted this weekend sporting a diamond ring at a party with friends. The couple, who began dating earlier this year, was seen sipping champagne at the Goring Hotel in London last Sunday.
A source, who was at the hotel, said: “There was lots of congratulations and passing around of a ring, which was a rather large diamond from what I could see.”
The insider described the couple as ‘very happy and excited’.
Although the couple mainly kept their relationship at a low profile, the public nevertheless followed Patrick as he moved into Cat’s Beverley Hills mansion in mid May this year. The two officially became known as a couple following their romantic holiday together last February. The pair debuted as a couple during the 2012 Glamour Awards in London.
Prior to meeting Cat, Patrick revealed his plans of settling down soon in an interview early in 2012: “I think that might be my New Year’s resolution…to get married.”
Patrick, 41, and Cat, 35, met and became close friends when they hosted 'Fame Academy', one of the original talent shows on TV, in 2002. Since Cat moved to America, she has since made a name for herself in 'So You Think You Can Dance' and 'American Idol'. She is also set to appear in a video for 'Shake It Up', a Disney Channel original series.
While the two have yet to comment, Cat did express her love for another ring on her finger on Monday. She showed a snap of an oval ring with a letter C on it; the ring was on her little finger.
