Chloe Grace Moretz, 15, of Kick-Ass fame has appealed to all her fans to help raise awareness against rhino poaching. She spoke in behalf of Rhinoheart, the non-profit organisation she supports.
The organisation aims to educate people all over the world about the plight of rhinos, one of the mammal species that are considered as critically endangered.
Moretz used her Twitter account to urge her followers to support the cause. Last Thursday, she posted: “On Sunday 8 Rhinos were killed in one day, and last night 4 more. The total number of poached Rhios is up to 338 for 2012. Just in South Africa.”
She accompanied the tweet with links to Rhinoheart’s social networking profiles and encouraged her followers to ‘like’ or ‘follow’ the pages in support of the campaign.
“Change the fate of these rhinos,” she ended.
Chloe Grace Moretz is an American teen actress who has been seen in several major films such as The Amityville Horror, 500 Days of Summer, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and many others.
She has also starred in Desperate Housewives and Dirty Sexy Money, for which she received several nominations for young artist awards. Her biggest break came when she acted in the 2010 action film Kick-Ass.
