Courteney Cox has confessed she suffered post-natal depression after the birth of baby daughter Coco.
The stunning actress, who is married to her 'Scream' co-star David Arquette, has revealed how she was forced to seek medical help six months ago when she started feeling down.
She admitted to America's USA Today newspaper: "I went through a really hard time - not right after the baby, but when she turned six months. I couldn't sleep. My heart was racing. And I got really depressed.
"I went to the doctor and found out my hormones had been pummelled."
The doctor prescribed her the hormone progesterone, and Courteney received support from her best pal and 'Friends' co-star, Jennifer Aniston, as well as from actress Brooke Shields, who recently spoke out about her own post-natal depression.
However, despite her problems, Courteney recently revealed she and David want to try for another baby because they want a little brother for Coco, who turned one last month.
The brunette beauty, who has had two miscarriages in the past, is also considering adoption if she can't conceive naturally.
