US scientists found women "dress to impress" when at their most fertile. The closer to ovulation, the more attention we pay to our appearance - wearing more revealing clothes and skirts rather than trousers. Other studies found women are also more likely to flirt at this time of the month.

Physical signs of ovulation include mild abdominal pain, bloating and increased vaginal discharge, which indicate it's the right time to make love.
