Everything from food to underwear has its expiration date but luckily there are ways to extend the items' use by date and save a packet! As food prices soar, it's comforting to know that you can get an extra few days out of your favourite foods.

Remember don't store bananas next to other fruit - the gasses bananas give off make surrounding fruit ripen quicker! And wash all of your fruit and veg the day you buy it to stop the decay spreading!
