'X Factor: Battle of the Stars' favourite Chris Moyles was kicked off the show last night (04.06.06).
The Radio 1 DJ admits he was "gutted" when he heard he wouldn't be in the final of the singing contest, which will be held tonight (05.06.06).
Chris - who sang 'Hard to Handle' by The Black Crows and classic Oasis hit 'Wonderwall' - said: "I'm quite surprised. I want to thank everyone behind the scenes. I couldn't care less who won it now. I think it's rigged."
The 32-year-old - who was hotly-tipped to win the competition - added: "I'm gutted."
The DJ's mentor, Louis Walsh, was also shocked he was booted off the show.
He said: "I'm disappointed Chris didn't make the final."
Judge Simon Cowell had also congratulated Chris on his performance, saying: "You've brought exactly the right attitude to this show - you tried your best, been competitive and you bring a sense of fun."
Former 'EastEnders' star Lucy Benjamin and Bath rugby ace Matt Stevens will compete for the title tonight.
