Controversial Boyle risks not working with Channel 4 again following his recent Twitter posts, as the Scottish stand-up comedian has upset bosses with his tasteless views.
It is understood Boyle is not under contract with Channel 4, the broadcasters of the London 2012 Paralympic Games, and there are no future plans in place.
The 40-year-old, who is renowned for his shocking and merciless humour, poked fun at amputees by referring to foreign practises for stealing: “Apparently the Saudi Arabian Paralympic team is mainly thieves.”
He also caused upset by relating to the armed forces and stating British high-jumpers achieved their personal best only because they were "Taliban-assisted".
Boyle also used his somewhat sick wit on the Royal Family, who attended the Paralympics opening ceremony on Wednesday night, as he said: “The Queen hasn’t cracked a smile since Diana died.”
Another tweet read as: "I'm going to the blind football to shout the referee's a deaf b*****d."
According to a source from the Daily Mirror, Channel 4 has stated: "We will wash our hands of Frankie now."
Boyle has also caused offence during his career with regards to famous Team GB swimmer Rebecca Adlington.
By using his Twitter account to refer to the Olympic gold-medallist prior to the Olympic Games, he posted: “I worry that Rebecca Adlington will have an unfair advantage in the swimming by possessing a dolphin’s face.”
The comedian has had programmes with Channel 4 previously, including his recent ‘The Boyle Variety Performance’.
Although, his show ‘Tramadol Nights’ sparked a worrying number of complaints after he made fun of Katie Price's disabled son Harvey.
The Paralympic Games will take place from August 29th to September 9th, where 164 countries will compete.
Great Britain has 300 athletes taking place in the competition.
