Queen's Park Rangers striker Djibril Cissé and his wife of seven years, Jude, are set to divorce based on reports. A source close to the couple, as reported by the Mail Online, has said they quietly separated a couple of months back before deciding to talk about divorce.
They have three sons together aged six, four, and two. They are also thought to each have one child from previous relationships.
The former couple was reportedly seen going solo for the past couple of months, including the French footballer celebrating his 31st birthday without his estranged wife, as well as her supposedly seeing friends alone in Los Angeles, California.
Although the separation started off relatively quiet, it wasn’t the case when the pair decided to go to Twitter to share their sentiments.
On October 2nd she tweeted: “What lies behind us & what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”
She added: “Remember without communication there is no relationship; without respect there is no love; without trust there's no reason to continue.
“Without pain, there would be no change. Remember, pain just like everything in life, is meant to be learned from & then RELEASED.”
On the same day, her estranged husband responded saying: “Some people have to learn to shut up and look at themself (sic) before talking about others.”
