Sarah Michelle Gellar and husband Freddie Prinze Jr. welcomed their second child last week, who joins three-year-old daughter Charlotte Grace.
The happy news was confirmed by the couple through their representative who said: “Sarah Michelle and Freddie Prinze Jr are thrilled to announce that they welcomed a baby son into the world this past week.”
Although there are no other details revealed about the new addition to their family, it was confirmed by a report from the Mail Online that both mother and son were doing fine. The spokesperson added: “Charlotte is very excited to be a big sister.”
The Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress and Prinze Jr, who met on the set of 1997 horror movie ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’, have been married for 10 years and were reportedly looking forward to having a son.
A source told Mail Online: “Sarah was secretly hoping for a boy.
“She realises this will most likely be the last baby she has, so she's so happy she'll have the experience of raising one of each.”
