Victoria Beckham has embarked on a gruelling new diet in a bid to lose her pregnancy weight as quickly as possible.
The former Spice Girl, who gave birth to third son, Cruz last month, is reportedly limiting herself to just three different types of food to drop her pregnancy pounds as soon as possible.
A source said: "The diet takes enormous willpower and strength of mind.
"But Victoria's determined to sort out her flab quickly, even though she cannot exercise so soon after the caesarean."
Insiders say the 30-year-old star will only eat small quantities of oily fish, lettuce and bananas for the first week of the bizarre eating plan so she can slip back into her old clothes as soon as possible.
The source added: "To ring in the changes, after a week, Victoria can change the fish to chicken, and the bananas to another fruit, like strawberries, and salad leaves to other vegetables."
But friends of the pop babe say the strict regime has been prompted by Victoria's fears about her husband's infidelity - even though he's told her not try and lose weight too quickly.
The Real Madrid ace denied reports he had slept with former PA Rebecca Loos and a raft of other women - but it seems the claims have had a wider effect on his wife.
A source told Britain's Closer magazine: "He says she shouldn't see being a size eight as her goal, but she then reminds him that he's not attracted to 'fat girls'."
