50 Cent has pulled out of a series of upcoming public appearances over fears he will be gunned down.
The US rapper, who was shot nine times in 2000, is reportedly living in fear after throwing rapper The Game out of his group G-Unit.
50 already sparked a shooting incident on Monday night (28.02.05) after announcing on a radio station that he was kicking out his fellow musician for failing to support him in a string of recent bust-ups with other rappers.
However, minutes later his interview with US hip-hop radio station Hot 97 was interrupted when The Game and his pals tried to burst into the New York studio.
During the fracas, a single gun shot was fired leaving a 24-year-old man wounded.
The 29-year-old - real name Curtis Jackson - is now in hiding and failed to show up to sign copies of his new album 'The Massacre' in New York yesterday (03.03.05).
However, 50 Cent has tried to play down the incident, saying: "A lot of things are said for shock value and not really as serious as people make out."
