Jamie Baulch, Olympic medallist and founder of BIDAID, will sit on the guest panel at the upcoming Transatlantic Fundraising event, taking place on 6 November 2025 at the British Library, London.
The event is being hosted in partnership with leading US agency Creative Fundraising Advisors and UK consultancy Gifted, bringing together 50–60 charity leaders eager to explore the opportunities and challenges of fundraising across the UK and United States.
Baulch, who launched BIDAID as a global platform to power innovative, all-inclusive online fundraising through hybrid auctions and events, will share his expertise on mobilising major fundraising initiatives overseas. His perspective will highlight how charities can leverage creative event formats and digital engagement tools to drive donations, strengthen supporter relationships, and deliver long-term impact.
“Fundraising has no borders,” said Jamie Baulch, Founder of silent auction business BIDAID.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the panel to share how we’ve helped charities successfully navigate transatlantic fundraising. By blending event innovation with donor stewardship, we can build sustainable income streams and inspire lasting connections with supporters on both sides of the Atlantic.”
The Transatlantic Fundraising programme will address key themes shaping the third sector today, including:
- The Culture of Philanthropy – how to embed a giving mindset within organisations.
- Structuring a Campaign – ensuring readiness for fundraising in both the UK and US.
- Building Relationships that Last – engaging and stewarding donors long-term, including setting up “Friends of” or 501(c)3 structures.
- Major Gifts vs Mass Participation – balancing strategies for high-value donors and wider donor acquisition campaigns.
Interactive sessions, including workshops and an open “Ask Us Anything” forum, will give delegates the opportunity to quiz sector leaders and share their own insights.
The event promises a rare chance for charity leaders to access practical, transatlantic expertise, helping them strengthen campaigns, build trust with funders, and navigate international fundraising complexities.
