Shell and Stu are becoming firm friends as Big Brother 5 heads into its final week.

Students Shell and Stu appear to have become close friends as Big Brother 5 approaches its grand finale.

The pair spent much of last week chained together and even though the shackles have now been removed, they both seem happy to remain joined at the hip.

Stu has become Shell's right hand man in the kitchen, helping her prepare meals for the other housemates and joining her in bread baking sessions.

Shell meanwhile has been adopting a number of 'Stu-isms' such as "cool" and "dude". Yesterday she even took to wearing a bandana.

Stu's possessive Big Brother girlfriend Michelle will be keeping a close eye on the situation from her living room after being voted out on Friday night.

The wannabe glamour model has plans for her beau when he emerges from the confines of the Big Brother house. She told a Sunday newspaper that the hotel room and the French maid's outfit were already on hand.

Michelle told Davina that she was gutted to leave the house, but was "thrilled to bits" about making it to week nine.
