'Big Brother 7' is set to be nastier than ever with housemates allowed to discuss nominations.
Contestants will be encouraged to forge alliances and back stab other rivals.
A source is quoted in Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: "The bigwigs know viewers like a bad guy on the show. This year every contestant will have to be a bad guy to survive.
"Letting the contestants discuss nominations is a sure-fire way to get the blood boiling."
Show bosses are said to be desperate to beat 'Celebrity X Factor' in the ratings war and have pulled out all the stops to score huge audiences.
This year's theme is 'survival' and ideas from the US version of the show will be used to spark more arguments.
The weekly task will decide who is the Head of the House.
They then decide the nominations and openly discuss who should be evicted.
The show will also be the biggest series ever - with 18 contestants squeezed into two rooms.
The series - hosted by Davina McCall - kicks off on May 18.
