Britney Spears is set to return to work just three months after the birth of her baby, friends claim.
The pop babe - who announced she was expecting her first child with second husband Kevin Federline earlier this week - is keen to juggle motherhood with a successful acting and singing career.
A source said: "Madonna is her inspiration. She's determined to be a good mom, but still wants to pursue her career ambitions."
Yesterday (14.04.05), it was revealed Britney is expecting a baby girl.
The sexy singer is currently recovering from a miscarriage scare with a break in Florida.
When asked how Britney was, her publicist, Leslie Sloan, let slip the baby's sex, saying: "She's OK. Mother and daughter are doing fine."
Britney was rushed to a private clinic at the weekend after experiencing severe abdominal pains and sources claim she was in danger of losing her unborn baby.
The sexy singer reportedly suffered from placental abruption, which can kill a foetus in two hours.
Her condition was later played down as a "common complaint" but Britney was kept under observation for two days.
