Cambium Networks has launched the cnPilot e700, which the company describes as an outdoor, cloud-managed WiFi access point. The product provides Gigabit throughput and an 802.11ac Wave 2 connectivity with 512 client capacity.
The outdoor WiFi system, which also possesses an IP67-rate closure, can “withstand challenging environments, such as high winds, rain, extreme temperature ranges and blowing sand, to prevent internal damage while also being able to support extensive network demands.”
Co-founder of Frontera Consulting Drew Lentz said:“We deployed the cnPilot e700 to provide connectivity to an outdoor food truck park in McAllen, Texas. The results that we have seen over the last two weeks have been encouraging and flawless. We are using Cambium Networks free cloud management solution cnMaestro to monitor and maintain the equipment and wireless connectivity.”
