Naomi Campbell is suing a London plastic surgeon for £50,000.
The supermodel is fuming after her name was linked to Botox pioneer Dr Jean-Louis Sebagh through two stories in Hello! magazine.
The 35-year-old catwalk queen has previously denied having any form of cosmetic enhancement, saying: "I'm fed up with people saying I've had plastic surgery and liposuction. Black don't crack."
A source close to Naomi told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "The articles give the impression that she endorses his products which she does not.
"That is why she has launched a pre-action disclosure."
In a statement, Naomi's lawyer, Gideon Benaim, revealed the model's team are trying to discover how her name was linked to the products.
It read: "She does not endorse Mr Sebagh's products.
"We are trying to find out how her name came to be connected to him."
Dr Sebagh has a client list that includes A-list stars Madonna, Elle Macpherson and Meg Ryan.
A spokeswoman for Dr Sebagh said: "We have no comment to make."
