Actor Charlie Sheen is to lose over a million dollars because of his time in rehab, it has been reported.
The 'Two and a Half Men' star had two of his episodes for the show cancelled as he was in rehab at the time they were set to be filmed.
Sheen was reportedly earning $825,000 for each episode of the show, making him one of the highest paid stars on US TV.
Following time away to control his alleged cocaine habit and alcoholism, meaning disrupting the show's production schedule, Sheen has had two episodes of his show 'Two And A Half Men' cut.
The program's executive producer, Chuck Lorre, said: "Instead of doing 24 shows this year, we'll be doing 22.
"But 22 is a full order. They had asked us to produce two additional episodes, which we normally do. But we won't do it this year."
The 44-year-old returned to work last week following his stint in rehab to finish the final episodes.
The admission came after an alleged Christmas day brawl with his wife, Brooke Mueller.
Sheen pleaded not guilty to the three charges felony menacing, misdemeanour third degree assault and misdemeanour criminal mischief which arose from her allegations that he threatened to kill her with a knife at the Christmas Day incident.
Mellor has also allegedly sought rehab treatment following the confrontation.
The trial is set to take place on July 21; with Sheen's next hearing on April 19, although the star is not required to attend court in person.
