Dermot O'Leary says 'Big Brother' has suffered since Nikki was evicted.
The TV presenter admits the show has hit the buffers since the glamour girl's exit from the house two weeks ago.
He told Britain's New magazine: "Even the housemates felt it. When she got evicted they were all going, 'You must be going to Australia', and were coming up with all these bizarre theories.
"You can understand it because we were all thinking, 'There's no way she can go. Something must be wrong.' So yeah, I think the show definitely suffered."
He added: "I don't know why she was evicted. I still haven't met anyone who voted for her."
Dermot has also revealed he wants to take Davina McCall's presenting job when she quits.
Despite his ambitious plans, the TV host admits it would feel a bit strange because they are such good friends.
He confessed: "I know Davina really well and know how much she loves it. But I couldn't turn it down if it was offered to me."
