Doctor Who's awards triumph

'Doctor Who' swept the board at the TV Quick and TV Choice Awards last night (04.09.06).
The sci-fi series won the prize for Best Loved Drama, while stars Billie Piper and David Tennant scooped the accolades for Best Actress and Actor respectively.
'EastEnders' beat long-term rival 'Coronation Street' for the first time in three years to the Best Soap award.
Other winners on the night included 'Deal Or No Deal', hosted by veteran presenter Noel Edmonds, which won the Best Daytime Show prize, reality series 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!' which scooped the Best Reality Show accolade, while Channel 4's 'Supernanny' walked away with the Best Factual Show award.
There was no change from last year in the Best Entertainment Show category, as 'Strictly Come Dancing' took the gong for the second year running.
Comedians David Williams and Matt Lucas picked up the statuette for Best Comedy Series with their hit show 'Little Britain' being named the winner.
Daytime chatshow host Paul O'Grady - who is recovering from a recent heart attack - was honoured for his TV work with the special 10 Years At The Top award.
