'EastEnders' businessman Ian Beale is to hire sexy barmaid Dawn Swann to be his wife.
The café owner pays the busty beauty to act as his spouse for a night to impress local charity bosses.
Ian, played by actor Adam Woodyatt, decides to get himself a fake wife after real partner Jane Collins gets angry over his plans to gatecrash the Walford Community Charitable Trust Committee to try and drum up more business.
Jane, Scottish actress Laurie Brett, refuses to attend the function with him, so the entrepreneur enlists the help of Dawn, played by 22-year-old actress Kara Tointon.
However, Ian's cunning plan backfires when the stunning Queen Vic' barmaid tells her friends of her new business arrangement - sparking gossip about what else Ian could be paying her for among the residents of Albert Square.
A show source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "What Ian does is not sinister, it's just a typical ruse for him.
"But hiring Dawn is not a good move. Many residents remember how he paid Janine Butcher for sex while with his last wife, Laura. Jane will also jump to other conclusions and there is severe trouble ahead."
