The following are the components that must be joined to create an information system:
1. People are the most important component of the information system since it cannot function properly without them.
2. Hardware is the part of an information system's physical component that we can touch. Computers, CPUs, displays, printers, keyboards, disc drives, iPads, flash drives, and other information system hardware are included.

3. Management Information Systems
The use of information technology, people, and business processes to record, store, alter, and process data to produce useful information is known as a management information system. These data aid decision-makers in making right and accurate day-to-day decisions. It's used to make a tactical decision (middle-term decision) to keep an organization running smoothly. It also aids in the evaluation of the organization's performance by comparing prior and present outcomes.

· Lower and middle management levels use it.
· It is more concerned with the past and now than with the future.
4. Transaction Processing Systems
A transaction processing system is a sort of information processing system for business transactions that collects, stores, modifies, and retrieves all of an enterprise's data transactions. Reliability, performance, and consistency are all qualities of a Transaction Processing System.

· It generates data that is used by other systems.

Development of Information System
