Hollywood actor David Carradine has been found dead in a Bangkok hotel room.
Police said that Carrradine, who played Bill in Quentin Tarantino's 'Kill Bill' films, was discovered by a hotel chambermaid hanging inside a wardrobe from his neck and his genitals.
He had been staying at the luxury Swissitel Nai Lert Park while filming his new movie 'Stretch' in Thailand.
Police have made no comment on reports suggesting Carrradine may have died while performing an auto-erotic act which accidentally led to asphyxiation. There was no suicide note.
Family and friends are shocked and devastated at his death and have said he showed no signs to suggest he was likely to commit suicide.
His manager, Chuck Binder, said: "He was full of life, always wanting to work a great person."
The 72-year-old actor got his big break when he became the star of iconic 70s TV show 'Kung Fu' as Kwai Chang Caine - nicknamed Grasshopper.
His character was a soft-spoken monk and martial arts expert who travelled through America's Old West spreading wisdom and battling bad guys.
He had been married five times and had two daughters. His fifth wife was Annie Bierman, who he married in 2004.
