Bianca Gascoigne and Calum Best were crowned king and queen of 'Love Island' in a tense finale last night (28.08.06).
The two stars were both delighted to have won but insisted they were "just friends" despite previously sharing several kisses.
During the pair's interview with presenters Patrick Kielty and Fearne Cotton, Bianca - the stepdaughter of footballer Paul Gascoigne - admitted she was stunned the public had voted her to win, saying: "I'm an emotional wreck. I don't want to start crying 'cos I'll never stop. It's been a rollercoaster."
Calum - the son of late Irish footballer George Best - insisted he was fond of Bianca but realised they were just mates.
Bianca, 19, is expected to rekindle her romance with The Streets singer Leo Ihenacho, 29, now the show has finished.
The pair enjoyed a brief romance before Leo was evicted, with the pop star even confessing he was in love with the brunette during one late night smooching session.
Former 'Big Brother' winner Kate Lawler, ex-Eternal singer Kelle Bryan and 'Strictly Come Dancing' star Brendan Cole were the three runners-up.
Bianca and Calum will split the £100,000 prize money between them.
