Les Battersby is ready to get married to trashy Cilla Brown, but he's not exactly in traditional top hat and tails.

First off, instead of a smart cravat becoming of a Corrie groom, Les sports a socking great neck brace.

He's wearing it because he somehow managed to get in a fight with his all-time favourite band Status Quo, but the ageing rockers make it up to him by playing at the reception.

For his big day Les, played by Bruce Jones, wears drainpipe trousers held up with a death metal belt, all topped off with a Teddy Boy jacket.

But somehow Cilla, played by Wendi Peters, manages to trump him in the bad taste stakes, poured into a lacy number complete with flashing white stockings.

Her son Chesney (Sam Aston) looks on in distaste, dressed rather sharply in a cream suit and tie.
