Life's a beach for Clooney

George Clooney has left his neighbours fuming after trying to buy the public beach outside his Italian home
The Hollywood heartthrob is keen to snap up the small stretch of coastline between the two properties he owns in Laglio on Lake Como.
However, local residents are up-in-arms because the beach is one of only a handful of access points to the lake.
Councillor Roberto Pozzi said: "The stretch is one of the few access points to the water."
It is not the first time Clooney - who was made an honorary citizen of Laglio early last year - has been in trouble with the locals since he moved in to the lavish villa, reportedly worth £10million.
Last year, the 43-year-old actor brought chaos to the quiet village when he threw a lavish party to celebrate the end of filming in Italy for crime-caper 'Oceans Twelve'.
The star-studded party, which included Brad Pitt, Catherine Zeta Jones and Matt Damon, drew a flurry of complaints from locals.
Clooney eventually wrote a handwritten letter of apology to his neighbours, saying: "My greatest desire is just to live in this wonderful village."
