Madonna is to star in a new children's film.
The 47-year-old singer will voice the character of Princess Selenia in new animated and live action movie 'Arthur and the Invisibles', based on the children's novel by Luc Beeson.
Other stars appearing or voicing characters in the film include 'The Omen' star Mia Farrow, Snoop Dogg and legendary musician David Bowie, who has starred in a host of movies of which children's adventure 'Labyrinth', was his biggest hit.
The movie is expected to be released some time early next year.
Meanwhile, Madonna has reportedly banned husband Guy Ritchie from her bedroom during her world tour - because he likes the air conditioning on.
The 'Hung Up' singer apparently decided the 'Revolver' filmmaker would have to sleep in a separate room if he wanted the air con on at night - because she is terrified the cold air will affect her voice.
A source said: "Madge can't sleep with the air conditioning on because she gets too cold and it dries her throat out, which can lead to a husky voice."
