Maximo Park wowed an intimate crowd at a top secret London venue on Wednesday night (14.06.06).
The band, fronted by Paul Smith, ripped through a blistering set at a special T-Mobile show at The Vinyl Factory.
The group - whose debut album, 'A Certain Trigger', was nominated for last year's prestigious Mercury Music Prize - lucky fans to a selection of their hits, including 'Signal and Sign', 'Limassol' and 'The Coast Is Always Changing'.
The indie rockers saved their biggest crowd pleasers, hit single 'Apply Some Pressure', 'Kiss You Better' and 'Going Missing', till the end.
The band also unveiled a clutch of new songs, with 'A Fortnight's Wait' being the pick of the fresh material.
One lucky fan, who won his ticket in an online T-Mobile competition, said: "They were amazing. I couldn't believe how close the crowd was to the band. It was a really special night."
Before taking to the stage, the band - singer Paul Smith, guitarist Duncan Lloyd, keyboard player Lukas Wooller, bassist Archis Tiku and drummer Tom English - mingled with fans.
