Radio One DJ Chris Moyles has been confirmed as one of the hosts of new Sky dating show, The Love Machine.
Moyles will front the show alongside former X Factor star and current face of Iceland supermarkets, Stacey Solomon.
Chris said of his new venture:
"I'm really excited about hosting the show. It's all the awkwardness of a giant speed dating event but in front of a live studio audience and on the TV!"
Stacey Solomon also added:
"Each contestant will only have a brief glance of who The Love Machine picks for them, but I hope we prove that there really can be love at first sight.
"Im a big romantic at heart and I can't wait for Chris and I to play cupid each week."
Featuring a huge set filmed in front of a big studio audience, The Love Machine will focus on a giant dating machine filled with single guys and girls hoping to be selected by the nights contestants.
Two couples created by The Love Machine will then go head to head and tackle the issues men and women confront on a first date but never normally dare to discuss sex, money and fanciability.
The winning couple will go on an incredible holiday for two - but not before one dastardly final twist that gives them the chance to ditch their date for a last minute upgrade.
Duncan Gray, Skys Head of Entertainment, commented:
"The Love Machine is a funny, entertaining and at times painfully honest game show based on the oldest dating principle around looks and first impressions count!"
The Love Machine is set to air on Sky Living HD in spring of 2012.
