Some users play on the TV alone, some just use the handheld version, while the rest mix and match their use. This indicates that the versatility of the Nintendo Switch is a large part of its appeal.
Analysis of the different ways in which Switch users play the console and their play style is conducted by looking at which way they play more than 80% of the time.
The findings showed that 18% of players use the TV only to play the games, whereas 30% proved to play just on the handheld console.
As can be expected, the remaining players "switched" their usage between the TV and the handheld device.
A new update for the switch has added the GameCube controller support which can be used by USB.
In the near future, the Virtual Console service will be added to the Switch and it is possible that GameCube games for this will follow.
Nintendo Switch users can enjoy save transfers and video captures on certain first party exclusives, such as Splatoon 2, as a result of the latest update.
