Norfolk County Council’s Digital Zone is set to showcase ground-breaking technologies that can help us at home, in the classroom and in the wide world.
Digital Learning will showcase interactive activities for children, including programmable robots, Lego engineering sets and virtual reality (VR) headsets. On the other hand, Home of the Future will focus on the latest in assistive technology, which include a Ring doorbell, fall sensors and smart speakers, designed to help disabled people and the elderly remain independent for longer.
Lastly, Get Connected will focus more Internet of Things (IOT) and showcase sensors that can detect if a bin has been filled, a farm gate has opened or an area has flooded.
