Oasis are reportedly set to snub the upcoming prestigious Brit awards after they were left out of the top nominations.
Noel and Liam Gallagher were allegedly so upset their album, 'Don't Believe The Truth', wasn't nominated for the Best Album accolade they are set to boycott the star-studded ceremony next month.
A source is quoted in Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: "Noel and Liam have no intention of turning up on the night.
"They see it as a real snub to be overlooked for the category."
The source added: "It was a real kick in the teeth for Noel because he wanted to see his friend Paul Weller pick up his Lifetime Achievement Award."
The band is expected to be nominated in at least one category, rumoured to be Best Rock or Best Live Act, when the list is announced tonight (10.01.06), but it's thought they will not attend because they have been left out of the major categories.
Oasis had previously been rumoured to be set to perform at the ceremony.
Other stars believed to be appearing at the February 15 event, in London, include Madonna, recently reunited boy band Take That, Coldplay and US rapper Kanye West.
