Bumbling Emmerdale vet Paddy finally gets caught out for the cheater he is - and gets thumped twice in the process.

The tubby love rat, played by Dominic Brunt, finally confesses to wife Emily about his fling with village tart Viv.

At first she manages to keep her anger under control and even passes up an offer from Viv, played by Deena Payne, to punch her.

But Emily finally snaps and smashes up Viv's shop in a desperate rage, before deciding that humiliating the cheating pair is the only thing that will make her feel better.

So the usually mild mannered character, played by Kate McGregor, packs Paddy's bags and storms into the Woolpack where he is having a drink.

She announces to everyone that her husband has been having an affair with Viv - prompting instant chaos.

Viv's ex-husband Bob, played by Tony Audenshaw, is furious at the news, and immediately takes a swing at Paddy.

And soon after Zak Dingle, Emily's close friend, moves in and lamps the poor vet for a second time.
