Phil's legal lady
TV
09:30 22 August 2006
Phil Mitchell is set to expand his business and hires a new crooked solicitor to help.
'EastEnders' hardman Phil wants to buy Albert Square's video store as an investment for his son Ben.
However, Phil - played by Steve McFadden, 47 - must find a solicitor to help him wrap up the deal and enlists the services of Stella Crawford.
Phil's previous solicitor, Marcus Christie, fled with all his money when Phil was sent to prison and it seems this new legal eagle also has a questionable conscience.
A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Phil and Stella could well form a business partnership from hell, as far as opponents of the Mitchells are concerned.
"Not much is known about Stella but she seems to have a lot of secrets to hide."
However, Phil is determined never to be tricked by a solicitor again and Stella - played by Sophie Thompson, 44 - will need to watch her back.
