Alien "Wow" Signal
A former US Department of Defence provides proofs explaining the origin of “WOW signal†that may disappoint alien believers.

In 1977, Jerry Ehman, the alien-hunting astronomer spotted a signal from deep space he simply called “wow” in the margin of his notebook.
Now, an American scientist has uncovered evidence that can explain the origin of the unusual signal, demolishing proofs that this mysterious burst of radio waves was due to aliens.
Antonio Paris, from St Petersburg College in Florida, found evidence that two comets zoomed past Earth when the Wow signal was recorded.
He said: "I have always been fascinated with astronomy, space and - more importantly - whether there is life in the universe.”
"After 40 years, the Wow signal was a cold case I wanted to reopen.
"Here we have a crime scene with a date and time, and a little description of the subject."
His claims were previously published in the Journal of the Washington Academy of Sciences earlier this year. On the verge of finally proving his claim, he is also about to successfully complete a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds to build a radio telescope and “solve one of the greatest mysteries of the Universe.”
