Facebook to appease copyright owners with blanket ban on sales of Kodi boxes.

Facebook is clamping down on the sale of so-called Kodi boxes on its Marketplace section in an effort to appease copyright owners. Kodi is an open-source streaming platform that is often used to pirate copyrighted contents, including movies and Premier League matches.
Facebook commerce policies state that it do not allow “the sale or use of streaming devices with KODI installed.”
Facebook has previously outlawed ‘piracy-enabling’ devices but this is the first time it targeted Kodi given the notoriety surrounding the software.
