While we were all expecting Michelle to be less than impressed that her "chicken" was chained to a "princess", it has come as a bit of a shock that Stu is feeling the force of the green-eyed monster as well.

For this week's task the housemates have been divided into pairs, based on how heavy they are, and chained together. This has seen the inseparable Michelle and Stuart quite literally linked to other housemates.

As the three sets of bound housemates got into bed together Stuart called across to Jay and his lady: "There better not be any cuddling going on, Michelle!

"Otherwise it'll be trouble," he warned.

Dan, who is chained to Nadia, was shocked.

"Hang on a minute," he mused. "They are the strongest words I have ever heard come out of Stuart's mouth!"

But Michelle was doing her own watching.

"I don't want to hear any giggling or anything," she warned Shell and Stu as they got into bed.

Jason then saw a chance to wind the long-haired student up, saying he would be sleeping naked.

"It's my natural environment at night," he explained.

But Stuart adamant this was not going to happen.

"You've got to take one for the team, man," he told the muscle-bound Scot.

"You've got to whack on those boxers!"

But not everyone is having problems with the task.

"It's quite fun," Shell told Big Brother, adding: "I don't really mind [being chained to Michelle's man] at all."

"I don't think it's the worst thing in the world for him [either]," she said.

But Michelle's jealous habits are proving about as popular with the public as Victor's wedding night.

The Geordie has seen her popularity plummet, from favourite to win it all, to co-favourite for eviction.

Bookmaker William Hill has them as both 20-1 to win the show, while Skybet believe the burley Glaswegian has more chance of winning than the Geordie lass.
