Former Corrie actress Suranne Jones has reportedly found love with a former star of rival soap EastEnders.
The fiery brunette, who played loudmouth Karen McDonald in the ITV soap, has been dating Marc Bannerman, who played Albert Square love rat Gianni di Marco, for two months.
The couple are believed to have first met at a party in February and are now said to be besotted with one another.
Suranne, split from actor boyfriend Jonathan Wrather, a former Coronation Street actor, on Boxing Day.
Marc is currently starring in ITV1's Celebrity Wrestling and the pair have been forced to snatch weekends together as Suranne, 26, is currently filming a new crime series in Manchester.
A source close to Marc, 35, told The Sunday Mirror: "They are both crazy for each other. Marc is absolutely besotted with her, It's torture for him when she is away filming. He's always on the phone to her."
A friend of Suranne's added: "She thinks she has finally found 'the one'. She is happier now than she has been for months."
Suranne left the Street in December and is now filming new ITV1 drama Vincent with Ray Winstone following a 750,000 TV deal.
Marc has spent the past few years doing theatre work after he was axed from EastEnders in 2000. He has previously dated former EastEnders' co-star Nadia Sawalha for four years.
