UK & US are moving closer towards military action against the Assad regime. This would be in response for its alleged use of chemical weapons on civilians recently.
PM David Cameron and President Barack Obama had a telephone conversation at the weekend. It has been reported that the two leaders spoke on Saturday, 24th August, for 40minutes.
Syria's Information Minister Omran Zoabi told Lebanese TV: “If the US leads a military intervention, this will have dangerous consequences. It will bring chaos and the region will burn."
As reported by the BBC, the government for Syria has denied any use of chemical weapons, it blames rebel fighters instead.
