Two blasts claim lives in Damascus
Reportedly, 14 people have been killed by two blasts exploding in the Syrian capital

At least 14 people have been killed after two blasts exploded in Damascus, Syrian state media has reported. At least 30 people have been hurt by the explosions, as of time of writing.
According to reports, it is thought there may have been two suicide bombers involved.
The explosion happened in Marjeh Square, where a number of shops were hit by the blasts. A Syrian state TV channel reported that a police building may also have been affected by the blasts.
As of time of press, it is unclear as to who is responsible for the tragic incidents.
The Marjeh Square is situated in the middle of the capital city of Damascus.
With regards to the conflict in Syria, its roots lie in the protest against Assad’s regime which happened in 2011.
