Following several months of anticipation, Microsoft has finally unveiled its latest console, Xbox One. The software giant is committed to not disappoint customers following wide acceptance of its popular Xbox 360.
Microsoft’s President of Interactive Entertainment, Don Mattrick, described the new console as the “ultimate all-in-one home entertainment system”. With its new, exciting features, it appears that Xbox One is set to go head to head with Sony’s PlayStation.
Xbox One will allow users to rent films, or play and record live television using an interactive TV guide. It can also be switched instantaneously between games, films, television, and the web; removing the need for a second screen, such as a smartphone or tablet.
Gamers will be happy to know that the new Xbox One will have more titles in development now than at any point in Xbox’s 12-year history.
Compared to Xbox 360, Xbox One is bigger and has new super-sensitive Kinect sensor and voice control. It also features Smart TV built-in and comes with 8GB RAM.
